Description: During my Campaign and Systems Design course, our class was approached by the Facilities Department and Departments Heads from the Computer Science Department and the Mathematics and Statistics Department asking for us to create an informational pamphlet to be given to the Minnesota State Senate Legislative Bonding Committee as well at the Minnesota State Senators; that would allow for a physical representation of the WSU environment as well as a reminder of everything the University was planning and hope to do with the CICEL project.

CICEL is a project that the University is seeking funding for, it is a Net Zero Building expected to be finalized by Fall of 2024. We needed to create something that could show off exactly what the Design Department is capable of, while including any and all information on the CICEL project that the committee would need. We, as a class created this lanyard pamphlet with a VR postcard that allowed digital forms of all information and slides shown on the day of the presentation (icon seen on back), an easy to read map, descriptions of each program, places for notes, and a tentative itinerary. We used variable data to personalize each lanyard for each person who attended the tour of the WSU campus and informational session.

This picture was taken the day of the presentation and tour, printed out, personalized and handed to each of the Senators in this photo.
